Hello! I'm a Los Angeles wedding photographer and I'm so glad you're here. I absolutely love what I do and I hope that comes across in my work. I'm a huge fan of adventuring, whether it's hiking, climbing, snowboarding, or backpacking – if you love doing any of these things, I think we'll get along great. I'm also addicted to road trips and finding new and beautiful places to take photos. Sunrise and sunset landscapes are my absolute favorites. I can't wait to get to know you and hopefully capture some amazing memories together.
I am a photographer who loves to capture the beauty of nature and the genuine emotions of people. I strive to find the balance between authenticity and art in every image I take. I am always looking for new and creative ways to approach my photography, and I firmly believe that there is always room for improvement. I am constantly learning and growing as a photographer, and I hope to never stop improving my craft.
I love my photos warm with cozy colors, moody and full of emotions. These are what I look for when I'm taking photos. Not only do I get to go to these amazing places, but I also get to include them in my photos to bring that sense of adventure and bring out the feeling of being in the moment. I like to keep things interesting and mix it up with candid photos that capture the real, unscripted moments, then I would switch to editorial-style poses once in a while for that extra dash of elegance.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
Hit me up through my website's "BOOK NOW!" button, CONTACT page, Instagram, Facebook, or just shoot me an email at info@donryansison.com. I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET?
I deliver every photos I edit but not every photos I shot. I also do not deliver RAW or unedited photos.
When it comes to wedding and big events, You can expect to receive anywhere from 300-500+ photos. But this might change based on the flow of the day and the number of events or activities needing to be captured.
For engagement sessions, you'll typically get around 20-50+ photos. But again, this number could change depending on how long we're shooting and how many locations we hit up.
WHEN DO I GET MY PHOTOS?
Once I've done your engagement or proposal session, you can expect to get your edited photos back in no more than 30 days. And actually, I usually edit a few pictures super quick so you can have some great shots to share right away and announce your engagement like a pro!
For weddings, the turnaround time is usually 30-60 days after the big day, depending on how long I was there covering everything. But same deal here, I'll send over a handful of edited pictures the next day so you can show off your stunning selves.
Once your photos are all edited and ready to go, I'll send you an email with a link to a website gallery where you can download your photos and share them with all your loved ones.
CAN WE SCHEDULE OUR ENGAGEMENMT SESSION ON A WEEKEND?
Since most weddings happen on weekends, I usually don't take engagement photos on weekends. But if that's the only time you're free, we can work it out and find a good time. Just keep in mind, if a wedding comes up on that weekend, we might need to reschedule. Weekdays are also cool because it's usually less crowded wherever we go.
HOW DO WE PAY?
While I can take credit card payments, the processing fees can be pretty steep. To keep things simple and affordable for my clients, I prefer to accept payments through Venmo or Zelle instead. That way, you won't have to worry about any extra fees eating into your budget.
DO YOU HELP WITH WEDDING PLANNING?
Absolutely! While I'm primarily a photographer, I'm more than happy to offer some guidance when it comes to planning out the timeline for your big day. It's important to me that we have enough time for all the photos you want, so I'll work with you to figure out the best schedule for your unique wedding. Just let me know if you have any questions or need any advice!
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Currently, I'm only taking on local clients within California. If your shoot is more than an hour's drive away, I may need to add a small travel fee to cover my expenses. But don't worry, I'll always let you know ahead of time and make sure you're aware of any additional costs before we get started.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I don't charge per hour for my wedding services because your special day is my top priority, and I'm only focused on delivering the best quality possible. This way, you don't have to worry about running out of time or anything like that. And if there are any unexpected hiccups or delays, don't sweat it - I'll sort them out at no extra cost to you.
My pricing starts at $2,500 for micro weddings, and I offer different collections that can include albums, videos, prints, and other cool stuff.
DO YOU PROVIDE DISCOUNTS?
I understand that weddings can be a big investment, which is why I work hard to keep my prices affordable and competitive with others in California. And if you're an early bird who books more than a year in advance, you might just score a sweet discount or credit. Plus, I'm happy to offer partial payments leading up to the big day.
